A Neverwinter Nights Persistent World
 Tales of Ancient Empires Info
  • Tales of Ancient Empires ("Tales" for short) is created, hosted and DM'ed by Ajax. Who can be reached in the Guild Forum or under Ajax in the NWN message system.
    Words from Ajax:
"Tales is a small PW that will, I hope, appeal to most players. It will offer something for everyone, Role Players, Action Seekers, and those who want some of both.

It is an ever expanding world where new additions are continuously being opened up. There is a detailed and underlying story which everything is wrapped around, so join us for some good old fashion RPing or wander off on an adventure of your own. Give Tales of Ancient Empires a try."

  • Tales is not for everyone! Some important points to remember are:
    • It is a role playing server so use OOC (Out Of Character) rarely as everything said is IN character
    • You can rest only in selected safe areas, and only heal at 1 hp per level
    • Characters up to third level should stay close to town or risk dying!
    • Drying is not a simple repawn with a small loss in gold and xp, it can really hurt and maybe permanent.
    • DO select a deity (Any name will do) when you create a new character as it increases your chances of being brought back to the living world of Tales.
    • Logging out because you were about to die is poor role-playing!
    • Some help The Role-Player's Guide to Multiplayer Neverwinter Nights

  • A number of players also play DnD in person every Monday night in Milwaukee, WI with Ajax as DM. This same group (Often called "Monday Night Slayers") after playing PnP DnD for 4 hours often go home only to play 2-4 hours in Tales. (Mondays ~10:30pm - 12:30am CST)

  • A special forum just for Tales players.
