I got this because I wanted the gauge to read the output of my regulator, for better tuning. I have heard of problems with these leaking and to head off that problem I removed the spring from it, which means it is just a low pressure chamber. |

At the Chronometer it would shoot anywhere in a 50+fps range between shots.
Also causing inconsistent shots. More constant shots and now fires in a 10fps range. I set it at 290fps tested it later in the day and it was at 294fps. |

Gun is too loud, my target knew right where I was. Even with other shots
happening on the field. The Big Shot helped a lot, sound is way down. Shots are more constant as well. |

A little heavy on the back side and the tank gets in the way. Putting more of an
angle on it helps make the gun balanced. Also should help keep liquid out of the system. |

I had to cut one of the original springs to get the gun down to 300fps. The spring
kit replaced it and also has a softer spring. The ball dent that came in the gun
broke the first day. Broke the spare the next time out. Got another from the
field store which only had one left. |

Performance - OK! Before this I only used field guns. I originally felt the Piranha's performance was
below a normal field gun. But after a break-in period it worked at about the same level if not a
little better. |
