Locations of visitors to this page

I am putting this page up to help bring to light what many people have dismissed, because it does not follow what they know! The evidence is there to show that the Vikings were indeed in North America before Christopher Columbus. In fact they were here several hundred years before Christopher Columbus. I would like to see more research done on this. A number of the sites and articles I have read point out places where there is more evidence of Vikings including larger items such as grave sites, building ruins, and ship remains. These sites must be looked into, but those with money to do so have not. Someday someone with the money, the expertise, and the time, will want to be famous.

  • Runes, Alphabet of Mystery has information on a number of rune stones found in North America including the Kensington Runestone.
  • I would recommend a visit to the Kensington Runestone Museum where you can see the stone. This is a nice museum that I got to visit during one of my summer trips.
  • Bill Hoyt has a personal page about the Kensington Runestone which includes a few images and links.
  • ULCA has more on the translation of the Kensington Runestone. They point to some possibilities as to why the runestone is real and why it maybe fake.
  • Timothy Mills says the Kensington Runestone is a fake but mostly he says there is no other evidence of Vikings in the area.
  • William Bakken has a massed some good information on his Viking Home Page.
  • The Last Viking is a huge article on Viking Ships and how they may have traveled over much of North America!
  • Edmund Sass has information about Glacial Lake Agassiz which might explain how the Vikings would have gotten to Minnesota.
  • Warren Upham a geologist has more information on Glacial Lake Agassiz.
  • The Minnesota Department of Natural Resources has a map of where the Glacial Lake Agassiz once was.
  • Text from Vinland Map has some good information on places that should be looked into but have not.
  • I have a small book "The Great Ice Sheet and Early Vikings in Mid America" by Orval Friedrich which does a very good job of explaining how the Vikings would have made it to Minnesota. That is right up to the part where he brings up the bible, then things gets weird. Why do so many people go narrow minded when it comes to the bible? It is a great historical work not a guide to the future.
  • Gloria Farley has put up parts of her " In Plain Sight " which has information on other ancient visitors to central portion of the United States.

A very large copy of the stone left behind by the Vikings in 1362!
